Happy New Year!

Year 2010 is about to end. Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good,  His love endures forever (1 Chronicles 16:34). Think of the blessings you had received, small and big things, and you will see how God is good and faithful to His children. Consider the trials and problems you encountered, too, and you will realize that despite the hardships you encountered, you are not crushed, not in despair, not abandoned and not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:7-9).

For Year 2011, may God give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed (Psalm 20:4). He knows the plans He have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). You can assure that He only wants the best for you. Trust Him.

Believe and you will receive

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. – Matthew 21:22

Persistently pray and do not lose your faith. Seek God. God will answer your prayers in His time, it is even better than what you prayed for because God wants the best for you.

“Yes” in Christ

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. – 2 Corinthians 1:20

God has many promises to His children. And did you know that we belong to His children? As “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Gal. 3:29). And these promises will be fulfilled in Christ. And what shall our response be? “Amen” to the glory of God and be thankful (having a grateful heart) for He has many things stored for each one of us. We are blessed!

My Strength and my Shield

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. – Psalm 28:7

There are many things to be thankful to God. From the moment we woke up until the day ends, God’s grace abounds to us. He gives us days to cherish and to be with our love ones. He gives us food to eat. He gives us strength, protection and wisdom and everything that we need in order to fulfill the day. But most of all, God gives us the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, our LORD.

My heart rejoices unto you, LORD! Thank you so much for all the things I received. I wanted to shout for joy and continuously praise you, LORD!

Merry Christmas!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6

To us, because of God’s love, a child is born, He gave His one and only Son, Jesus. He is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. In times of troubles, He will listen to you, give you advices through His word. He is our Mighty God, through Him all things were made and nothing is impossible to Him. He is our Everlasting Father, always here with us to comfort us, to discipline us, to love us. He is the Prince of Peace, in Him we will find peace and rest.

Who else do we need? Jesus alone can satisfy our soul. Know him more, build up our relationship to Him, trust Him and we will experience a blessed and storm-proof life.


God so loved the world

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

Thank you, God, for giving us Your begotten Son, to die on the cross and rise again to deliver us from our sins and for us to have eternal life.

God does not only love you, He loves you so much! No one can ever compare to the love of God. God’s love is unconditional, whoever we are, whatever we do, He gave to us His only Son, Jesus.

He is a gift from God to us. All we need to do is accept that gift and we will not perish but have eternal life.

Few hours to go and it’s Christmas. Merry Christmas! Don’t forget the real reason why we celebrate this season. It’s not about parties, not about the gifts, not about Santa, not about the food. It’s all about JESUS!

God’s great love, compassion and faithfulness

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,  for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” – Lamentations 3:22-24

God is faithful. He keeps His promises. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His love for us is great. His compassions for us never fail. He is always here for us, waiting for us to acknowledge Him.

God loves you. Experience His love by knowing Him more through His Words. Let God be the center of your life. Wait unto the LORD and experience the promises He has for you.
