Persistence

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” – Luke 18:6-8

This is an excerpt from the parable of the persistent widow who persistently come to the unjust judge with the plea. Read Luke 18:1-8 for the complete story.

Jesus is telling us that even an unjust judge who does not fear God, he gave justice to the widow because she keeps on bothering him. What more God who is just, who always keeps His promises, who is righteous, who loves us so much! God gives justice for His chosen ones, who persistently calls to Him, day and night. God will also answer our prayers! We need to persistently pray on these, remain in faith, have patience to wait and God will not only give what we are praying for but what are the best for us.
