If you need comfort…

Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
       I will fear no evil,
       for you are with me;
       your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. – Psalm 23:4

If you need comfort, call on to God. He will comfort us and give us rest. Pray to Him, say everything that troubles us. Read His word and we will know the promises God has stored for us and how He loves us. He is always with us to comfort us.

Serve others

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. – 1 Peter 4:10

God is so generous because of the gifts we had received from Him. Use these gifts to serve other people for them to know God and glorify the name of the Lord.

Never give up in doing good

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up – Galatians 6:9

Don’t get tired in doing good. Never give up, because at God’s time we will receive the fruits of our works, we will reap a harvest, for the glory of the LORD.

Everlasting Love

The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness” – Jeremiah 31:3

God has loved us with an everlasting love. You are valuable to God. His love will endure forever. He loved, loves and will love you. God is love. Nothing can ever compare to the love God has for each one of us.

Be a good testimony to others

Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. – 1 Peter 2:11-12

As children of God, live according to God’s way. Live as a testimony to other people on how God changed our lives and how Gods work on us. And through our good deeds, these people will be eager to know God and to have relationship with Him, for them to experience the same life we have with God and glorify the name of the Lord.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. – Hebrews 12:11

Before we become Christians and did not have relationship with God, we are used to do things seem right to the way of the world but against to God’s. When we become Christians, there are times it is hard for us to turn away from these things, it is painful for us. There are some who cannot endure the pain which results to turning away to God and continue on their old ways. But God is telling us, “I discipline you, my son. It is painful but I know you can endure it. Just keep your faith to me, I’ll give you my strength. You can do it, my son. And soon, you will experience the results of this discipline, you will become stronger than before, you will be at peace and you will experience how great is a life with me in you.”

Do not be anxious

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7

We don’t need to be anxious because we  know that there is one God who provides. Pray to God, raise to Him our needs and wants, give thanks to God in everything that we received. God is very glad to hear from us and talk to us. And with God, we will experience peace, we will not worry anymore and He will guard our hearts and minds.
